We’re rethinking how homes are built.
In partnership with Hyperion Systems, Little Castles is on track to deliver the first recycled plastic 3D printed small home of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. A fully functional 28m² studio with kitchen and bathroom, designed for real living and built for a real client — this is not a concept, it’s about to become someone’s home.
Build while helping the environment
At its core, this is about exploring better ways to build. By combining 3D printing technology with recycled materials and practical construction experience, we’re looking to create homes that are more efficient, more sustainable, and more accessible — without compromising on quality, durability, or comfort. The result is a carefully considered small home, complete with kitchenette, bathroom, and living space, designed to perform and built to last.
High standards and fully compliant
While the method is new, our standards are not. Every home is designed and engineered to meet Australian building codes and energy requirements, with careful attention given to insulation, ventilation, and long-term performance. The use of solid PU insulation throughout, thermally-broken double-glazed aluminium windows with low-energy glass and fibre cement internal wall linings are just a start. These are real, compliant homes — built to high standards, using new technology.
It’s just part of the way forward
3D printing is one part of a much bigger vision. Alongside modular, prefabricated, and custom-built homes, Little Castles is committed to pushing the boundaries of how homes are designed and delivered. This is the first of many.
