Little Castles was established in 2016 as a subsidiary of Barefoot Renovations to provide ancillary accommodation often associated with renovation projects along with a number of bespoke design granny flats and studios.
As a registered building company, when it comes to garage conversions and studio apartments, the renovation experience is handy and while we’ve built many small homes on site, we generally focus on prefabricated, modular and containerised solutions, with a philosophy of aiming to provide the best insulated, robust, highly finished and healthy spaces to live.
From design and approvals to modular, prefabricated, on-site and containerised construction to delivery and installation, we pride ourselves on offering our clients a turn-key solution to their project, whether for family living, AirBnB, short-term rental, workers accommodation or tourism.
We have a number of designs and options that can be tailored to your needs, and while we can provide economical solutions for internal and external finishes we don’t compromise on the structure, insulation, glazing and ‘behind-the-wall’ fixtures; this is where we pride ourselves on providing only high quality solutions for the space.
We don’t think ‘one size fits all’, so we look at all the options and opportunities to deliver the project as efficiently and cost effectively as possible without compromising quality.
Depending on the design and location, we can construct on-site or generally build in modular or ‘flat-packed’ format, which is fully or partly constructed off-site and “dropped” (gently!) into place with minimal disruption.

Environmental Policy
We care about the environment in which we and our families live and to do our bit to preserve it, we carefully dispose of rubbish from each project and, where possible, recycle materials.
